波動減速ギアタイプマウントの特性である大きなピリオディックエラーをエンコーダーを内蔵することによって±2.5秒ほどまにで抑えたRST-135の上位モデルです。
500mm程度の鏡筒のノータッチガイド撮影が可能です。もちろんオートガイドを行えばさらに高い精度での追尾を実現します。
本体重量は標準版（RST-135）から100gほどアップするだけ（3.4kg）、外観はほとんど変更ありません。
（標準版RST-135の"E"モデルへのアップグレードはできません）
