After the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake that caused enormous damage, the Hoshien was postponed for a while.

The Hoshien was revived for the first time in four years with the help of the disaster-hit Ubuyama Village (Ubuyama Observatory).

With the thought of cheering for everyone affected by the disaster,

We plan events that both astronomical fans and local villagers can enjoy.

You can see the smiles of the children at workshops such as making starry sky lanterns and at the bingo competition.

At the "exhibition booth" and "astronomy lecture", which were exhibited and cooperated with astronomy manufacturers, the smiles of astronomy fans.

At the "Starry Sky Observation" at night, equipment that we are proud of gathered from inside and outside Kyushu.
