You can search for stars like a game without looking through a telescope!

Smartphone app navigates astronomical observations

The biggest feature of the StarSense Explorer series is the ability to search for the target celestial body while looking at the smartphone screen by attaching a smartphone to the astronomical telescope with the dedicated application "StarSense Explorer" downloaded.

In addition to planets such as Jupiter, Saturn, and Venus, smartphones navigate astronomical observations to astronomical objects, nebulae, and star clusters that are difficult for beginners, such as double stars and the Great Orion Nebula. . You can enjoy looking for celestial bodies like a game.

By aligning the position of the smartphone's camera lens with the mirror on the mounting part, the app automatically calculates the position information from the image of the star taken by the camera. After that, if you select the celestial body you want to see, an arrow that guides you to the aiming and target celestial body will be displayed on the smartphone screen. Manually move the lens barrel according to the direction of the arrow, and the introduction is completed when the sight changes from red to green. When you look through the eyepiece, you can see the target celestial object there. Also, if you tap the "star" mark on the app screen, the observable celestial bodies at that time will be displayed. * Free download * To use the app, you need to enter the passcode that comes with the product (up to 5 devices per model) * Compatible OS: Android 7.12 or higher, iPhone 6 or higher (iOS is the latest version)
